Recorded By Supreme Master News Reporter Ching Ho, Taipei, Formosa I went to Cambodia to attend the retreat and the Opening Ceremony of Raising Center. In the crowd I saw brother Giang walking with crutches due to poliomyelitis. Although he moved slowly and tried harder than others to avoid the muddy areas, his desire to see Master was not at all affected. Walking in the rain, he could not hold an umbrella, but he was not discouraged from his quest for the Truth. He knew that it would be inconvenient for him with daily activities during those few days, but he still decided to attend the retreat.

"I don't feel bad. I have gotten used to it since I was a little boy anyway, the external obstacle is not the real obstruction. One's biggest obstruction is the inner obstacle," brother Giang said. Beaming with an optimistic smile, he positively looked at his own life journey. He remembered when he was just initiated, he felt as if he had obtained the most valuable gem in the world. He even carried a walkman to work in order to listen to Master's tapes all the time.

"At that time, I wanted to retreat from the worldly life and completely devoted myself to spiritual practice. Gradually I understood Master's teachings more and more. I understood that spiritual practice is to bless the world and this help me get rid of my inner struggle. Now I feel at peace," he recalled.

After cutting the ribbon at the opening ceremony, Master left in Her car. When the car was passing by brother Giang, Master suddenly stuck Her head out of the window, looked at him, and said, "You all have to take care of this fellow practitioner. Don't get in his way." At that particular moment, brother Giang was so touched by Master's care and compassion. She really takes good care of everyone in need, including both inner and outer needs. At the opening ceremony, Master treated the Cambodians sincerely and gently. Everyone was moved by the abundance of Her love. When Master arranges things, She is always considerate so as not to hurt others and does everything naturally without pressuring anyone. She does Her best to help people in need.

After seeing Master, brother Giang decided to meditate more diligently, to overcome his laziness and to get closer to Master to learn Her qualities of beauty, virtue and Truth.
