Spiritual Interlude

During the Ching Hai Day Seven-day Retreat last year, Master asked that the contact persons from all over the world meet in the international garden. She compassionately enquired about the management and each and every difficult problem that they may have in the meditation centres.

It was because the contact person from Mexico raised the problem of a lack of space in their centre, that Master humorously suggested that one might try to design boxes for fellow practitioners to wear. When piled one on top of the other the problem of space would be solved. At that time, the contact persons from all countries looked at each other and laughed, feeling that the shape and size of the object was rather abstract and vague.

After the seven-day retreat, I went back to Hong Kong. One day when I was glancing through the newspaper a foreign report suddenly caught my eyes. The design that was worn by an architecture university student in France, as shown in the photograph, was exactly the same as what Master had described. This was now being shown to the whole planet.

Once again, Master's vision surpassed those of Her fellows, and is unlimited. Anytime, anyplace, Master's visions are vividly fulfilled and revealed for beings to attest. (Attached: Photo from Sing Tao Daily News, Hong Kong.)

In the video, "Be A Good Example For The Society," Master said: "When the disciples are working for the Master, it is enough to keep a joyful heart. No need to worry about other things."

Master has also said that She does not need us to do anything for Her. She allows us to do the so-called, 'Master's work' to train us to work swiftly and mindlessly, thus enabling us to quickly surpass the level of the mind and elevate our vibrational levels.

From my personal experience, it was really like this! Last year I joined the Lecture Translating group in Taipei to learn. Later, I was appointed to ask brothers and sisters to collect phrases and terms related to practice from Master's English publications and create a reference handbook for the translating group.

Then I, who throughout my whole life did not like to ask other people to do things, had to put away my shameful embarrassment and make phone calls, one after the other, to distribute the work. I also had to try to figure out the job of Chief Editor.

From the work I learnt that when we were working wholeheartedly, the blessings from the inner Master are ceaseless, and the invisible uplifting inside is the best reward. No wonder Master said: "Whatever you do is for yourself." Growing through working. Mm! I like this feeling.

A few months ago brother Yu Cheng-Chu went to help with the work at Hsihu. There was a tent facing the one that he pitched. He noticed that this fellow practitioner never spoke a word. Everyday he did things quietly - meditating, working, and never looked for others to chat with. However, the day the work was completed, he suddenly spoke, "Although we fellow practitioners don't like to speak much, we are even closer than family."

Indeed, during this period, there were also some fellow practitioners from abroad who helped with the work. Despite differences in language, we could still help each other and work without encountering any obstacles; and we cooperated happily! "Language" seems to have little use in our "Big Quan Yin Family". Everyone deeply felt, "Without speaking any words, the work was done smoothly. Without holding any conversations, our hearts communicated. Without using any language, all of us were closely united by Master's great love!"

This is a most wonderful experience. This kind of wordless understanding is more wondrous and precious than any rare treasure.

A Wonderful Way To Deliver People

While planting trees at Hsihu, brother Yu Cheng-Chu said with regret, "I have a younger brother, who is tall, strong and handsome. He is talented and successful in his career. It is a pity that he doesn't listen to one word of Master's teachings. Giving deliverance to sentient beings is indeed very difficult. We might as well give up!"

A sister initiate beside him said, "How could you not save your younger brother? I know a brother initiate who was in the same situation as you. He gave a cassette tape of Master's musical compositions to his younger brother and said, musical compositions. They are great.' He did not go on to talk about Master's teachings. Sometime after listening to the cassette at home, his brother even started to read Master's books, and eventually received initiation to become a fellow practitioner!

"Master engages in many activities in order to establish affinities with sentient beings. We should also act according to the situation. Those whom we find cannot relate to Master's teachings, we can let them enjoy Master's musical compositions with instruments such as the harp, piano, zither, electric organ or mandolin. Master's powers will act invisibly. Their karma will lessen gradually, and then they will naturally accept Master's teachings and become fellow initiates. There is no need for us to think about delivering people. People will spontaneously be delivered. Never think that "I" deliver people. In fact, everything is due to Master's power."

All the fellow initiates who were there planting trees felt that this is true. It is really a wonderful way to deliver people; one that is easy and does not cause any hard feelings.
