Letters Between Master And Disciples

The Heartfelf Feelings Of A Lucky Person

By Fellow Initiate Chang, Mainland China

I was once an incurable cancer patient awaiting death in a hospital. Master saved my life. It was all due to Her grace that I am alive and able to practice to this day. Now, I have surrendered everything to Master's arrangement. Subsequently, I am always bathed by Her nectar, and immersed in Her ocean of love...

Blessing In A Dream

Three years ago, hoping to grasp the slender chance of survival, I braved the risk and had a complete hysterectomy. Leaving the recovery room, I was unconscious due to excessive hemorrhaging. After several hours of emergency resuscitation, my condition stabilized.

In the wee hours of the nioming after the operation, I had a dream. In the dream, I saw an enormous hill. There was a house on the slope facing north. I climbed upwards with great difficulty. Reaching the doorway, I saw a very tall and dignified old lady sitting in the house. She was very kind. When I walked in, she immediately hugged me and put me on the bed in front of her. She said, I am here to save you, but you had to climb the hill." Then, I woke up from the dream.

After waking up, all the parts of the dream were still vivid and clear. However, despite all thinking efforts, I could not figure out who the kind old lady in the dream was. From that day, my illness improved quickly, and I recovered very quickly from the operation. Looking at the patients around me who had similar conditions and had also received operations, no one recovered as quickly as I did though some of them were younger and physically stronger than I. After this experience, the idea of studying Buddhism naturally came into my mind. All I thought of every day was studying Buddhism, chanting the Buddhas' names, and praying to the Buddhas. However, where would I go? Whom should I learn from? Unable to fmd answers to all my questions, I was frustrated every day.

The Riddle Was Finally Solved

A year elapsed. One evening as I was going to the bathhouse I ran into an old friend. She said, "Please take this book to Wang for me." She then gave me the book. I took the book and1ooked at the cover. Immediately I noticed the cover photograph was that of the dignified lady whom I had seen in my dream a year ago. Feelings of ecstasy and great respect arose in my heart. I was so grateful that I mumbled some words with praise, "Oh! I understand now! I understand now!"

Observing my unusual expression, my friend asked me, "What is wrong with you?" I could

only answer blissfully, "I am so lucky, but I cannot tell you why." Embracing this precious book -- the sample booklet, The Key Of Immediate Enlightenment and One Life Liberation respectfully, I went home quickly and wasted no time in reading it, until midnight.

Master Bestowed Further Guidance

I had a dream that very night. I was on the top of a hill in a place surrounded by walls. Trapped inside the dark walls I tried to escape but could find no exit. I asked the people around, yet no one told me where the door was. In this way, I wandered in the darkness for a long time. Later, a man and a woman appeared canying a piece ofsteel, claiming they were going out to do some business. Seeing that they were going out, I exclaimed loudly, "There's the door! There's the door!" So, I moved forward following the direction they were going.

The road was long and wide and on the north side of the hill -- facing north again. At the beginning of the road, I met an old lady, whom I asked, "Are there any other roads further ahead?" She said, "This is the main road. You just go strnight ahead!" So I marched straight down the road, which became wider and longer. Then I woke up from the dream, which is still vivid and real in my memory now. I realized afterwards that the door I looked for in the dream was the Quan Yin Method, the road I took was the road to spiritual practice, and the old lady is our Master.

Sincere Longing For Initiation, A Beautiful Dream Comes True

Since then, I have developed a deep and wonderful affinity with Master. I was reluctant to part with Master's books. Day and night, a book was always with me, never away from my hands. Master's books had become the most important requirement in fulfilling my daily needs. The more I read, the deeper I felt Master's venerable aspects. Therefore, I wholeheartedly and anxiously awaited initiation. Indeed, heaven answers sincere hearts. Exactly on the hundredth day after I became a pure vegetarian, I received the notification for initiation, Now, with a heart permeated with heavenly bliss, I am writing to Master to pour out my infinite gratitude.
